REI provided the following scope of work for construction: removal of existing concrete topping slab, insulation + waterproofing membrane down to the existing structural concrete deck, and proper preparation of the concrete deck substrate and prime concrete deck. Torch apply two-ply SBS modified bitumen waterproofing membrane along with flashings + accessories; provide extruded polystyrene insulation, composite drainage panel, and concrete topping slab sloped to provide positive drainage. Through wall flashings at masonry parapet wall were replaced to properly tie into new waterproofing system. Some components of the curtain wall were removed + flashings were provided to tie into new waterproofing system.
REI provided tie-in of new to existing waterproofing along walkway area.
