BCS: Hurricane Florence Roof Assessments

REI conducted site visits to review the condition of the roof systems after Hurricane Florence, to determine the need for remediation or replacement for multiple schools + support facilities.

The site visits resulted in a summarized report, sealed by a NC Licensed Professional Engineer) outlining the results of our field evaluation that was inclusive of site plan (utilizing satellite image) for each facility with individual roof areas identified; overview photographs of all accessible roof areas; detailed digital photographs documenting damages found; MS Excel Spreadsheets for each facility identifying the following recommendations based on observations:; immediate (emergency) repair items; long term repairs items with estimated construction costs and construction durations; and prioritized roof replacement budgets with estimated project costs + construction durations.
