Lexington Medical Center: Tower Expansion 550,000 SF

REI provided a survey to determine if moisture was present within the existing roof system, utilizing a Flir ThermaCam B1 infrared camera to identify areas with significant heat differentials, or anomalies can be caused by wet insulation. The IR camera readings were confirmed with a Tramex Leak Seeker + a Delmhorst BD10 Moisture Meter. REI compiled a written report, complete with a roof plan drawing, detailing the findings of the survey so next-steps towards remediation could be determined. Additionally, contract documents + construction administration were performed, to ensure the design materialized in the built environment.

Area 1: IR photo of suspected wet, noting that the lighter areas are warmer and suspected to contain moisture. Core samples were taken to confirm.
